The Intermediate Excel course is designed for people who have already got to grips with Excel and would like to move on to the next level in terms of extending their knowledge of it's techniques and functionality. More detailed looks at formulae and dealing with data will be undertaken as well as looking at charts and working with other applications such as Word.

Additional Formatting Techniques
This section explains about styles, the powerful feature "conditional formatting" and the format painter.
Additional Formulas and Functions
This section goes into a lot of detail of formulas. learn about the series command, nested formulas, array formulas as well as looking at some of the more useful Functions available within Excel
Correcting Formulas
Learn how to find errors and correct errors. Learn about the error checker and auditing toolbar.
Databases and Table Management
Learn how to create an Excel Database, how to sort and filter data and how to use Data Forms
Charts
Excel has an amazing variety of charts on offer. Almost any kind of chart you want to draw can be done within Excel. Learn how to create charts using the Chart Wizard. Learn what options are available for charts and the various chart formatting techniques.
Drawing and Picture Objects
Excel also has the ability to draw a number of different shapes (or objects) within the worksheet. Learn about the various shapes, text boxes and clip art that can be drawn or inserted. Also learn how to layer and group objects.
Excel and Other Applications
Learn how to import data from other applications and about embedding and linking objects.Learn about hyperlinks and how to manage links between applications.
