The Advanced Excel course is designed for people who already have good knowledge of Excel and are comfortable with a lot of the functionality such as formatting, formulas, charts and have good experience of dealing with data, but would like to extend their knowledge to more advanced areas of Excel such as Pivot Tables, basic macros and analysing data.

The Course Outline is as follows:

Importing Data
Learn how to Import Data and Files from external applications and files. Also learn how to use query to obtain external data.
Templates and Styles
Learn all about Templates and Styles. How to create, use and apply them.
Analysing Data
Excel is one of the greatest and most flexible tools for analysing data. Learn about Wht-if analysis, about goal seek and Data Tables. Also learn about Scenario manager and Solver.
Macros and Custom Controls
Once you start using macros (VBA programming) you start to unleash the true potential of Excel. Learn how to record macros and to assign them to a shortcut key or a button or custom control. Also gain a basic appreciation of how to read the code created by the recorder and how to change the code to suit your needs.
Pivot Tables
Pivot Tables are simply astonishing in terms of their ability to display and summarise vast quantities of data in simple terms and at the complete control of the user. Learn how to create a Pivot Table and how to manipulate them to meet your reporting requirements. Mcuh use and beloved by Accountants and Data Analysts, this is a must for anybody who creates reports.
Security
Learn about Excel's security and how to protect your files. Learn about worksheet protection, digital signatures and Data Validation.
Customising Excel
